fractal polyhedron

 

• Discovered on the orbit of Duat by the Explorer 3803. It was the last Relic Station discovered by the Explorer 3803.
• It appears to be a stationscale object made of metallic substance, most time flat and featureless.
• No clear openings - most of the time.
• It changes number of faces each seventeen revolutions around Duat. The process is almost instantaneous - especially for the object this size (about 1,31 seconds). 
• Its surface fractalizes during the process, then flattens again after the transfiguration. 
• It was an octahedron when discovered.
• It is almost impossible to observe the polyhedron for the long time. Causes irreversable degeneration of sensors and minds and spirits alike.

POLYHEDRITES claim to know about more of similar objects scattered throughout the Theion Sector. According to them, all other 'Fractal Altars' are much smaller than the one orbiting Duat.
