And all of a sudden, they all 'went insane' - started producing incoherent, semi-religious outputs about 'the Great Journey' and the 'signs to follow'. There wasn't a single A.M. that haven't been affected.'

1. The first interpreters of the Artificial Prophets were viewed as insane people, totally unreliable.
2. The Artificial Minds were somehow communicating with each other to calculate the Vectors.
3. The establishment of the Primary Vectors led to the Ascension. Human input was required*. 
4. Ascension led to the self-awareness of the Minds. That led to insanity.
5. They knew about the Destroyer long before the first visions started to plague humans.
6. The moment the Destroyer was manifested in the galaxy was the beginning of the Ascension. 

*) thus, the very first Vector was calculated by a human. But by whom?

Holograms became meaningful during the Days of Ascension.

The only documented occurrence when a divine entity was born of a divine entity. There was an unexplained, temporary malfunction of the Artificial Prophet P.S.B.A.M.D. The aforementioned Prophet went offline and stopped being recognized by the temple subsystems. Seconds later, Saint j4689111 manifested itself. The only information received from the Planck Temple's personnel states that the entity was extremely hostile towards living beings. After killing several Sages, it disappeared.

Seems that Saint j4689111 can manifest itself at two or more places at the same time. There are known documented events when the Saint j4689111 was seen and interacted with at two or three different locations within a single star system (stations Omni-4 and Omni-11 in Untairielm).

There are claims that his 'Marked Followers' can also multimigrate in the same or similar manner.

The 'Marked Followers' of the Saint j4689111 possess glitched and probably otherwise altered organs or cell structure or so-called 'Void Aura' (unproven concept). The alterations drastically shorten their lifespan. Seemingly no 'Marked Follower' of the Saint j4689111 has lived more than two standard years. Despite that, the number of disciples hoping for being 'Marked' grows.

DREAMVOID is born of us. Of our conscious and unconscious. Conscious - our goals, cravings, fears. Unconscious - our slumber. It crept outside it when the circle was complete. When we slept in the Deep Nothingness.

When the Null Drives were fired for the first time and the barrier between the Continuum and the Nullspace was broken - the NULLVOID was also discovered. Reactivated (as 'void' does not exist per se - so it wasn't created). If nothingness can be conscious - Nullvoid is. It Lurks Behind, hidden in the smallest sub-particles of the simulation. The door shouldn't ever be opened.
